November 2 question - November is National Novel Writing Month. Have you ever participated? If not, why not?

I've written many books during the months of October and November. Love this time of year for all things spooky and mysterious. Something magical happens when the weather changes. When shorter days take over and foggy mornings fill the river front, it sets the mood for my favorite genre: mystery and suspense.
The Hoover Dam was amazing to view in person. Loved every minute of our vacation. I hope this November finds you writing or editing. I'm still in the never-ending story of editing. Call me crazy, but I love it!
I've seen the Hoover Dam! That area is so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteIt is for sure!
DeleteGlad October and November are good writing months for you. It looks like you had a fun trip to see your son.
ReplyDeleteWe did:) Thanks!
DeleteWhat a beautiful sky! I spent most of my October in a basement, so you're making me jealous. :-)
ReplyDeleteHa ha! I do love the great outdoors.
DeleteHoover Dam looks stunning. You are making me envious, I don't write much in October and November, as Diwali usually comes in October.
ReplyDeleteFor some reason those two months get me in the writing mood.
DeleteWe saw the Hoover Dam on our honeymoon. I miss the desert. Four years in ABQ was not enough.
ReplyDeleteIt's a nice place to visit, but I love the Midwest!
DeleteI do seem more inspired during winter months, often knitting summer observations into stories of warmth and light that lessen the chill of cold desert nights. Yes, I live in the desert (Arizona) and those pictures are terrific ;-) Happy November!
ReplyDeleteMe too!
DeleteEditing is the best. You have a whole framework from which to work. It's nice.
ReplyDeleteIt is! I agree. So much easier when you have it already written.
DeleteSounds like a great trip!
ReplyDeleteIt was!
