Remember, the question is optional!!!
April 7th's question, if you'd like to answer it, is: Are you a risk-taker when writing? Do you try something radically different in style/POV/etc. or add controversial topics to your work?

When it comes to reading, I'm more of a risk-taker. Writing, not so much. My spare time in the library leads me to all the books. I can't wait for summer, because I miss writing!
I hope everyone had a blessed Easter. The final countdown has begun. Less than 8 weeks to go. Pumping myself up for the last leg of the race. Things are changing! The future looks bright.
Are you ready for summer? Anyone else on hold for now? I will swing by blogs later tonight or by the weekend.
With spring progressing and the midwest warming I am counting my hours to the second COVID shot and the two week window after. I should be ready to reintegrate with the world in the second week of May, and one of my first stops will be the Grand Rapids Public Library, which I have not set foot inside of in over 18 months. I miss it terribly.
ReplyDeleteEight weeks and you'll be writing like a mad woman!
ReplyDeleteNot a risk taker in writing either.
ReplyDeleteThe countdown has begun!
Bring on summer! I definitely read "riskier" than I write too.
ReplyDeleteHi Jennifer, I too need to start taking risks in my reading :) hope you had a great Easter?
ReplyDeleteThat's great that you only have eight weeks till summer. I've been reading way more different genres and storylines these days and really enjoying it.
ReplyDeleteI've been expanding what I usually read, too, and loving it. :)
ReplyDeleteSummer's coming. I know what you mean about risk taking in reading. It's fun to read the different books. Harder to write them.
ReplyDeleteI love that, risk-taking with reading and not (just) writing. I'm sure they are both a risk in their way. Hope you have a great weekend and wonderful summer!

Hi,
ReplyDeleteYes,it has been a year so far. I know you are looking forward to just being with your family and friends and having the time to just sit and write.
We are finally coming out of lockdown after fourteen months of being on quarantine and having a curfew at night and sometimes during the day. So yes, I am looking forward to meeting my best girlfriends and enjoying the summer months. I have already made the first appointment. We will go to our favorite cafe and sit outside and enjoy the sunshine.
Wishing you a wonderful vacation. Enjoy yourself and take care.
Shalom aleichem,
